A Few Ways To Earn Money From Home
(c) 2009 by Cheryl Williams Levey, http://www.cherylsweb.com
Some ways to earn money from home include:
SiteBuildIt! (SBI) - Check out this tool to build your own business! It's really incredible for building a website that earns you an income. I can't recommend SBI enough for people who want to build a business through income-producing websites. As Ken Evoy, the owner of SBI, always says, all you need is BAM - Brains and Motivation - along with following SBI's super easy instructions, broken down into 10 easy "days" (some days take longer than a day to complete...). For an example of an SBI site, check out my site on party planning: Party Planning Ideas site. (I have three more in the works!)
HomeJobStop - The HomeJobStop Job Bank is an active job board specializing in telecommuting and work from home jobs, including various writing jobs. At this site, you will not find an exhaustive list of pyramid schemes, chain letters, or other well known schemes. You will find a wide variety of professional, up-to-date job opportunities. (More freelance opportunities are under the Jobs and Employment section of the Shopping page.
- Earning money on eBay is as easy as listing stuff you no longer need. As a freelance writer, you can really make your listing shine! At the least, it's a fast way to earn a few extra dollars, but you can also build a substantial income selling on eBay as well. Check out my article about eBay.
Two other ways to earn extra money include:
SurveyScout - You can earn cash and free stuff for filling out surveys. There are many good survey sites; SurveyScout is a great one to get started with.
iStockPhoto - you can sell your photos on stock photography sites.
And don't forget the power of gathering with like-minded people. One place to do this is at online forums and groups. One such place is the Ideas By Post group on Yahoo. The members of this group are professional internet markers in various genres, including writing (one of the members is the owner of the Freelance Writing Organization), and are one of the most helpful, friendly groups that exists!
